Kitchen, part 4

More progress! I've been working on some other paintings lately, so I put this one on the back-burner for a couple of weeks. Since the last post, I've started to add more objects that were in the kitchen and refine areas. The difficult thing with this painting is figuring out when I have pushed and pulled the objects enough to achieve the idea (or feeling) I want to get across. I am also having fun capturing the glow from the window.

Great work. The glow of the light is what I liked the best when I saw this!

Loving it! The only thing I'll throw in my two cents for, is I really enjoyed the coolness of this side of the soffit and counter in the previous progress shot. I think warming up the glow is doing wonders, but I really enjoyed the cool colors on the stuff closer to the viewer...which I feel has been lost a bit. Take it for what it's worth, it's an amazing painting no matter what.

Rendez - Thanks for the critique. I felt like I needed to darken the area at the top to keep the focus more inside the kitchen. It has been difficult keeping it that wonderful cool temperature and it may still need some tweaking. The area at the bottom of the painting actually hasn't been changed yet; it looks different from the previous shot because I took the photos in different lighting conditions. However, I will keep your comments in mind when tackling that area.
