THe steaks makes the parking lot look rather tragic. This is very beautiful, but the streaks in the sky looks unusually expressionistic in comparison to your previous works. The downward rain movement seems to over power the whole image and becomes what it is about. I wonder if that is intentional. THe red glaze flattens out some of the image, especially where the right side of the mansiion meets the bushes.trees behind. I wonder what the effect will be if you go in with some opaques to refine some nessesary edges to emphasize depth of the space just a little more. incredibly painted as always.
Gumkid - I experimented a lot with abstraction and mark-making on this piece. I felt like my work was getting too stiff and I wanted to loosen up. This is the result. It isn't perfect, as you pointed out, and I have considered (before your comments) reworking some of the areas you mentioned. Thanks for the feedback.

Gorgeous man, you really honored that structure and the mood is great.
I love this. It's like a dream version of a mansion. But also real.
is that the architecture museum on monument?
Thanks guys.
Chris - Totally.
This is seriously beautiful. Definitely recognize the building-- well done.
